How we use the information you enter

What we collect

When you verify a pack on this page, we store:

• The product code you typed.
• Your mobile number (if you entered one).
• The date and time you verified.
• Your IP address and browser type (a normal web-server log).

That's it. We do not ask for your name, address, email, location, or any identification document.

Why we collect it

• The code — to confirm the pack is genuine and not a counterfeit.
• Your number — so we can call you about your purchase: ask how the product was, take feedback, or let you know about a recall if anything is ever wrong with a batch.
• The timestamp + IP — to detect fraud (someone scraping codes, repeated verification of the same code from far-away IPs, etc.).

What we DO NOT do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your number with anyone outside Diet Gear.
• We do not send you marketing texts or unrelated promotional calls.
• We do not pass your number to Amazon, Flipkart, or any marketplace.
• We do not enrich your number with data from other sources.

Who calls you

If we call, it will be someone from the Diet Gear team. The conversation is about your specific Diet Gear purchase. We may ask if you'd consider leaving a public review on the marketplace where you bought it — but only as an honest ask. We do not pay for reviews and we do not offer discounts or cashback in exchange.

How long we keep the data

For as long as the verification system is in use. If you'd like your number removed from our records, contact us and we'll delete the entry within 7 working days.
